Listen up, you beautiful degenerates. It’s me, Spider Thompson, holed up in this piss-stained hovel I call a hotel room, mainlining coffee and rage because it’s the only way to survive in this soggy island of faded empire to sniff around the latest outbreak of human sewage. The far right. Again. These suited-up cockroaches and their populist sock-puppets aren’t some dusty relic from the BNP’s glory days of goose-stepping losers – they’re mutating, splitting, and slithering straight into the corridors of power like a bad acid trip that won’t end. And yeah, I’m talking about the whole festering lineup: the street-thug remnants, the ethno-nationalist basement-dwellers, and especially the shiny new populist frauds like Reform UK and Restore Britain, peddling their lies while the country slides toward the abyss.
Let’s do this chronologically, because history’s a bitch and these pricks keep recycling the same fascist diarrhoea with better PR. Back in the ’70s and ’80s, it was the National Front – bald thugs in Union Jack boots, screaming about “rivers of blood” and getting nowhere except the occasional riot. Then the British National Party under Nick Griffin peaked in the 2000s, scraping a few council seats with their “respectable” racism before imploding under the weight of their own incompetence and criminal records. Dead, but not buried. Their spores lingered, waiting for the next wave of fear.

Enter the 2010s street phase, the real rot setting in. Tommy Robinson (real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, because of course the biggest mouth in the game hides behind a stage name) kicks off the English Defence League in 2009 – a pack of football hooligans and Islamophobes turning protests into pub brawls. Anti-Islam, anti-immigrant, all wrapped in “defending British values” bullshit. Robinson bails, gets jailed for contempt and fraud, but the grift never dies. By 2011, Britain First bursts out of the BNP’s corpse, led by Paul Golding and his crew. Mosque invasions, “Christian patrols,” viral videos of them cosplaying as holy warriors. Still active today, still registered, still Golding at the helm, still peddling the same fear-porn to the disaffected. Fascism with a Facebook filter.

Fast-forward to 2019: Mark Collett, ex-BNP publicity hack and full-time neo-Nazi sympathizer, founds Patriotic Alternative. White Lives Matter banners, outdoor “native British” hikes, ethnonationalist wet dreams about “remigration.” It’s the slicker, online-savvy version – less skinheads, more podcasts and fitness grifts. But even that fractures. In 2023, Kenny Smith, a former PA admin, splits off to form the Homeland Party. Registered, active, pushing the same “blood and ancestry” ethnonationalism but trying to look “sensible.” Smith runs the show, and monitors call it one of the most organized fascist outfits left standing. Then there’s the British Democrats under Dr. James Lewthwaite, English Democrats with Robin Tilbrook, and Heritage Party led by David Kurten – smaller splinters, all sucking at the same nationalist teat, fielding the odd candidate and dreaming of relevance.

But here’s where the real danger metastasizes: the populist pivot. The suits arrive, rebranding the hate as “common sense.” Reform UK, Nigel Farage’s latest Frankenstein – reborn from UKIP and the Brexit Party – surges like a tumour in the polls by 2025. Leading everything, gobbling local seats, defectors from the Tories piling in. Farage, the grinning eel, promises mass deportations, crackdowns, and “restoring Britain” while denying he’s far-right. Populist lies, pure and simple: stoke the immigration panic, blame the “elites” and “woke,” pretend it’s not the same old fascist undercurrent dressed in a suit and tie. They drag the Overton window so far right that actual governance starts smelling like their shit. And the country eats it up because the establishment’s been a decade of failures.

Then the fractures get uglier. Tommy Robinson, fresh from his rallies and “Unite the Kingdom” circus, jumps ship to Advance UK in 2025 – Ben Habib’s outfit, another Reform splinter that’s even harder-line. Robinson’s not leading, but his endorsement and street cred make him the shadow kingpin, mobilizing the mobs while the party talks policy. It’s all connected: ethno-nuts like Homeland and PA urging votes for Reform, Britain First cheering from the side-lines. The fringe and the “mainstream” right are blurring into one toxic sludge.

And now, the freshest turd on the pile: Restore Britain. Launched by ex-Reform MP Rupert Lowe as a “movement” in June 2025 after his messy split from Farage’s crew, it goes full registered party in February 2026. Lowe – Great Yarmouth’s independent MP, the man who couldn’t stomach Reform’s “moderation” – positions it as the umbrella for the truly pissed-off. Reverse mass immigration. “Restore Christian principles.” Put British interests first. Hard-line, nationalist, socially conservative. It’s got one MP in Parliament already, claims tens of thousands of members, and attracts backing from the neo-fascist fringes – Steve Laws and others publicly pledging support. Elon Musk’s shadow looms in the endorsements. Lowe’s out there promising a “democratic revolution” while the party’s platform screams the same populist poison: immigration as invasion, Islam as creep, the whole country in “decline” unless they seize control. It’s Reform’s angrier, faster cousin – populist far-right on steroids, splintering the vote but unifying the hate.
These aren’t harmless cranks anymore. The chronological creep – from NF relics to EDL thugs to PA cosplayers to Reform’s polling juggernaut and Restore’s rapid rise – shows the pattern. Fascism doesn’t storm the gates with jackboots; it knocks politely, lies about “protecting the people,” and slips into power on waves of economic despair and manufactured fear. Reform UK and Restore Britain are the gateway drugs: they normalize the rhetoric, erode the norms, and hand real influence to the ethno-fascists lurking behind. Tommy Robinson’s network, Golding’s provocateurs, Smith’s Homeland crew – they all feed the same beast.
This is how democracy dies: not with a bang, but with ballot boxes stuffed by grifters selling nostalgia and scapegoats. These kinds of people – fascist at the core, populist in the packaging – are actually gaining traction, seats, MPs, momentum. The UK’s future? A shell if this continues. Our institutions hollowed out by division, lies, and the relentless creep of authoritarianism wrapped in flags. I despise it all – the hypocrisy, the fear-mongering, the slow poison killing the idea of a decent society. Wake the fuck up before the sewer overflows and drowns what’s left of this country. Expose them. Mock them. Vote against the rot. Or watch it win.
